Cascadia Elementary is a new, 55,000 sf school in north Whatcom County.
The school is designed to complement the natural beauty of its surroundings. We nestled the school into a hillside on the steeply sloped site to keep with the scale and preserve the views of neighboring residences. The building is designed and oriented so each classroom is filled with natural light from windows on two exterior walls.
