Rolluda Architects, Inc. (RAI), an award-winning architectural firm, located in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, is seeking an energetic and highly organized Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, capable of maintaining a strong sense of focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive, and professional team environment. This position is multifaceted and will require a background in several skill sets including marketing, graphic design and content creation.
 

Under the direction of the firm’s marketing manager and marketing committee members, the Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator's responsibilities will include:

  • Incorporating firm's messaging and branding identity into our website (Wix), social media postings, printed and electronic promotional materials, press releases, newsletters, publications, tradeshows, and presentations for meetings and interviews using Adobe Creative Suite. 

  • Collaboration with SM Committee in creating and maintaining a social media presence through Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. 

  • Collaboration with firm’s Marketing Manager to develop Request for Qualifications (RFQs), respond to RFQ selection criteria by way of written storytelling narratives; and create visual graphics to illustrate stories. 

  • Development and maintenance of database containing active and completed projects, including history and development, description, drawings, inspiration images, renderings, photos, credits, captions, as well as firm’s presentations, etc. 

  • Architectural award submissions: development and production, including graphics, writing, editing, and proofreading. 

  • Coordination of photography for projects, team/group shots, and individual shots.


Applicant must have:

  • Marketing and/or Graphic Design experience in A/E industry (preferred).

  • Strong interpersonal and creative writing skills combined with a creative graphic design aptitude.

  • Strong copy editing and proofreading skills.

  • Familiarity with RFQ process (main responsibility in this position).

  • Ability to complete deadlines while maintaining design excellence.

  • A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

  • An eye for detail and a solution-based mindset.
