Julia is a Project Architect with over 20 years of experience covering a diverse scope of projects, ranging from residential high-rises to government facilities. She developed a passion for education projects with a focus on K-12 in recent years and found it highly rewarding to create spaces serving students and designing their learning environments. While working at other notable firms in Washington, Julia was involved in the renovation of the Truman Elementary, Alderwood Elementary, and Challenger Elementary Schools. Students get to enjoy additions and upgrades such as a new gymnasium, covered play, and community room/s through Julia’s design contributions. She has also worked as a Project Engineer, taking on construction work tasks.
Julia is a University of Washington graduate. And like a lot of folks in the firm, she loves dogs and keeps one, Winnie. “Keep calm and hug a dog.” – one of her most appreciated mottos.
