Oliver is currently enrolled in Savannah College of Art & Design. He has interned at companies like Lauren Crocco A+D, Handcrafted Holdings, and Lloyd Architects. He is a staff member for Prodigy Camp, which holds summer activities for future filmmakers, musicians, and storytellers. He has been involved in fundraising work for different community support groups like Story Q and Frankie4.

In addition to being a school dean's lister, Oliver garnered Destination Imagination, Da Vinci, and Renaissance Awards in 2015 and 2018.
