Seattle Convention Center Summit Building
Washington State Convention Center Public Facilities District / LMN
In a strategic partnership with another major architectural firm, Rolluda Architects integrated directly into the core project team to deliver the high-profile Seattle Convention Center Addition. This landmark $1.6 billion civic undertaking represented a transformative opportunity to pioneer a world-class urban convention venue at the forefront of the industry. Rolluda Architects helped shape a design that capitalized on Seattle’s distinct cultural and geographic qualities, ultimately delivering a rich delegate experience while enlivening the city's rapidly evolving urban core. The massive expansion injects 1.2 million sf of state-of-the-art exhibition and meeting space into the downtown landscape. Furthermore, the comprehensive scope of work weaves the massive convention facility seamlessly into the neighborhood fabric by incorporating a 30-story residential tower with 428 units, a 16-story office building, and dynamic new retail and public spaces along the building's exterior.
