Dennis Glynn AIA, NCARB

Born and raised in the Pacific NW, Dennis attended WSU for pre‐med, changing his major to Architecture after exposure to the program. He spent time in London with his Architectural History class and visited architectural landmarks in England and Europe.

He received his Bachelor of Architecture in 1980, attending commencement wearing a mask to protect against volcanic ash from the newly‐erupted Mt. St. Helens.

After graduation, Dennis returned to Seattle and worked for various Architectural firms. In 1984 he relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii in to represent a Seattle firm after extensive travel throughout Southeast Asia.

After working with both large and small firms in Honolulu, he formed Dennis Glynn Architects, Inc. (DGA) in 2000.  He worked on a variety of residential and commercial projects, winning an award for a seaside residential remodel. He is a licensed architect in Hawaii and Washington and is working on obtaining LEED AP certification.
