Eric grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the son of an architect.  He knew early on that he would go into the family trade (his brother is also an architect), enrolling in the architecture program at the University of Idaho, where he graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.  He moved to Seattle that same year, the city being the only place he really considered living in after school.

After working for several firms over the previous 16 years, Eric moved to Rolluda Architects in 2004, once again working with Alex Rolluda, who he has known since 1988, becoming a principal in 2010.

​

Eric’s work is primarily with The Boeing Company, having completed over 135 projects with them since 2004, as well as work with the State of Washington and the U.S. Forest Service.

​

He emphasizes practical, clean, straightforward solutions to complex design problems and manages projects with a cooperative team-effort style, not only during design, but during construction as well.
