Fa Sheng Temple
American Seattle Buddhist Association

Rolluda Architects, in collaboration with the Fa Sheng Temple American Seattle Buddhist Association, completed the comprehensive architectural design and successfully secured the necessary permits for this new 11,000 sf Buddhist temple. Spanning two main stories and a full basement, the facility is thoughtfully programmed to balance community functionality with sacred spaces. The basement level features a full kitchen and a dedicated reading room, while the main floor and upper level host the primary prayer rooms. The structural design seamlessly integrates traditional Chinese temple architectural elements, blending cultural heritage with modern urban life. To enrich the surrounding streetscape, the project incorporates a welcoming "pocket park" designed to enhance the pedestrian experience. Once the city review is approved, this landmark development is poised to become a vibrant cultural anchor for Seattle’s Chinatown International District.
