Rolluda Architects is working as a subconsultant providing design for three charging stations for buses at the Commerce Street Bus Tunnel Center in Tacoma, Washington. The charging stations are located inside the bus tunnel turnaround. We are providing assessments to evaluate the locations of the chargers, locations of standard bus layover spaces, and bus auto turns. Bus turning movements and employee safety are critical design considerations. Rolluda is working on bus turns, layouts, signage, pedestrian paths, ADA, fire safety, and overall design.
