PIERCE TRANSIT CENTER UPGRADES
Rolluda Architects provided assessments and improvements to outdated stations at various transit centers throughout Pierce County. RAI was the Architect of Record working with the prime consultant. It was our responsibility to replace and upgrade roofing, walls, seating, glass enclosures, gutters, and bench systems. We provided permitting, bid support, and construction administration.
The stations include: Tacoma Mall Transit Center which included two shelters, three platforms, and a utility building; 72nd Street Transit Center which included four shelters, side seating, sidewalk improvements, and a 70-car park & ride; SR 512 Transit Center which included two shelters, concrete column replacement, utility building, and a 490-car park & ride; and Tacoma Community College Transit Center which included a 100-car park & ride, three bus platforms, two shelters, and utility building.
