Ramiro Zamarripa

Project Architect

“Be who you are, say what you mean because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” – Dr. Seuss

Ramiro Zamarripa has over 20 years of experience in designing healthcare, educational, and fire station facilities. He has worked on various project sizes and types, focusing on improving team performance through best practices and efficient workflows. His recent work in residential design has familiarized him with the fast-paced world of multi-family and townhome projects. In his role as project architect, Ramiro enhances teams by planning, coordinating, and producing project documents. He develops architectural solutions that comply with building and zoning codes and collaborates closely with project designers and managers to create viable designs. Skilled with technical details and project coordination, he assists the team with consultants and contractors to ensure the relevant systems and methods align with the owner’s expectations and budget. Some of his project’s clients include Sound Transit, Boeing, Lakewood School District, King County, and several local hospitals and medical centers.

Ramiro holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Auburn University. Growing up in a military family sparked his interest in architecture and urban design through his father’s stations in Germany and his family travels through Europe. This experience eventually led him to the pristine weather and scenic beauty of the Pacific Northwest. In his free time, Ramiro and his partner enjoy art fairs, road trips, nature walks, and biking. Not “foodies”—but lovers of good food, they savor hearty breakfasts and unique desserts and pastries while exploring the local dining scene. As horror movie fans, they often attend events like the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), BoneBat “Comedy of Horrors” Film Fest, and local film screenings.
