Richard has over 35 years of architectural and interior design experience in the public realm, including master planning and design of municipal projects. He has a particular focus on police and public safety facilities, community gathering spaces, and parks and recreation projects. In addition to projects in the public realm, Richard has designed several restaurants and retail spaces.

​Rich has been involved in managing all aspects of project delivery, from site selection, planning, programming, design, and interior design through construction documents and construction administration.

​

​ Rich has an excellent background as a team leader and personnel manager, coordinating the efforts of staff and consultants. He is adept at managing community relations for design projects, collaborating constructively with a range of diverse groups and organizations. Rich emphasizes a collaborative team approach, focusing on overcoming challenges and turning them into opportunities. Staying positive and focused are the keys to his approach.
