Tanya   Music by Never on Tuesdays

Take 5  (top) is a song that is meant to remind us to take time to connect with loved ones. The recording was performed by Never on Tuesdays, a band I was a part of awhile back. It reminds me of how pressured I was to come up with things to talk about with family/friends whom I haven't seen in a long time. Donn Stone, our HR Manager, advised me that conversations with loved ones do not have to be long.  He said "keep it short like 5 minutes. And call every day, especially your mom, if you can." So, I've been doing this. Maybe someone else will benefit from this bit of advise as well.

Hardcore Poetry (bottom) inspires us to put ourselves in another person's shoes when situations call for it. We may not have all the answers to solve problems but empathy and trying to understand someone else's perspective to life is a place to start.
